Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using Collectly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Collectly. If you are under 18, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Collectly, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide us is accurate.
Use License
Collectly grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your collection management needs. This license does not include:
- •Modifying or copying the service materials
- •Using the service for commercial purposes without authorization
- •Attempting to reverse engineer any portion of the service
- •Removing any copyright or proprietary notations
User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
User Content
You retain all rights to the content you upload to Collectly (photos, descriptions, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
Public Content and Visibility
You control whether each collection and item is public or private, and you can change that setting at any time. Content marked public is visible to anyone, including visitors who are not signed in, and may be shared or linked by others.
Public collections, items, profiles, and blog articles are listed in our sitemap and may be indexed by search engines and other automated crawlers. As a result, public content can appear in search results and may persist in third-party caches or archives even after you change or delete it. If you do not want content to be publicly available, keep it private.
Connect AI and API Access
Collectly can expose its public data and selected tools to AI assistants and other external clients through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Only content that is already public is reachable this way, and you can disconnect any client at any time.
If you use Connect AI, or build a client that connects to Collectly, you agree to use it only to access content that is public, to respect the privacy settings of other collectors, and not to scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service. Access may be rate limited, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.
Editorial Content and AI-Generated Material
Our blog publishes editorial articles about collecting. Some of this content is researched and drafted with the assistance of AI tools, then reviewed before publication, and articles cite the sources they draw on. Editorial content is provided for general information only. It is not professional advice, and any prices, valuations, or market commentary are not appraisals and should not be relied on when buying or selling anything.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Collectly available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- •Use the service for any illegal purpose
- •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- •Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
- •Upload malicious code or harmful content
- •Harass or harm other users
- •Upload content you do not have the right to share
- •Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the service or its Connect AI endpoints
- •Misrepresent items as authentic, or use the service to facilitate counterfeit or stolen goods
Copyright and Takedowns
We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on Collectly infringes your copyright, please email us at contact@collectly.xyz with a description of the work, the location of the material on Collectly, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will review the request and remove or disable access to material that we determine to be infringing, and we may suspend the accounts of repeat infringers.
Data Retention and Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete or anonymize your personal information and collection records within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations. Copies may persist briefly in backups before they are cycled out. You can export your data before deleting your account, and we recommend doing so.
Limitation of Liability
Collectly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to data loss or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Collectly.
Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. Continued use of Collectly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
